Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager for the hospitality sector to oversee the daily operations of a luxury beachfront property featuring thirty villas on Flamenco Beach in Culebra, Puerto Rico. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach to hotel management, team supervision, and guest relations, ensuring that high standards of service and property presentation are consistently maintained. The ideal candidate will possess strong managerial communication skills, expertise in hospitality reservation systems, property management systems (PMS), and a deep understanding of hotel guest service standards. Duties

* Oversee all aspects of hotel management, including operations, guest services, and staff supervision to ensure seamless daily functioning.
* Lead and manage a diverse team, including scheduling, training, and motivating staff to uphold high standards of hospitality.
* Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
* Coordinate with maintenance teams to oversee property upkeep, repairs, and cleanliness standards across all villas.
* Supervise housekeeping operations to ensure villas meet cleanliness and presentation standards consistently.
* Implement and uphold hotel guest service standards to enhance the guest experience.
* Facilitate effective managerial communication across departments to promote teamwork and operational efficiency.
* Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation to maximize operational effectiveness.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies while fostering a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.

Requirements

* Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles.
* Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse staff members.
* Excellent communication skills for effective managerial interactions and guest engagement.
* Proficiency in hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS).
* Deep understanding of hotel guest service standards and hospitality best practices.
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Passion for island living with a positive attitude toward providing exceptional guest experiences.
* Organizational skills necessary for overseeing maintenance schedules, housekeeping operations, and overall property management.
* Flexibility to work in a live-in role on Flamenco Beach with a hands-on approach to daily operations.
