Food Photographer

Aura Social is a boutique digital marketing agency based in Santurce, San Juan, working with restaurants, food brands, hospitality and lifestyle clients across Puerto Rico. We are looking for a Photographer & Videographer with proven strength in FOOD content — someone who knows how to make food look irresistible on camera: plan a shoot, style a plate, capture it beautifully, and edit it into content that performs on social media. Food photography/videography is a requirement for this role because it is the content area we are actively growing. That said, this is a full-service agency position: you will also shoot sessions for our broader client portfolio (lifestyle, corporate, events, products and personal brands), not food only.

Duties

- Plan and execute photo and video shoots of food, beverages and restaurant experiences (menu heroes, behind-the-scenes, Reels and TikTok) for multiple clients.

- Shoot photo and video sessions for non-food clients across our portfolio: lifestyle, corporate, events, products and personal brands.

- Manage lighting and basic food styling on set.

- Edit photography (Lightroom/Photoshop) and short-form video (Premiere, CapCut or similar) optimized for Instagram and TikTok.

- Shoot on location at client venues across Puerto Rico — travel time, gas and tolls are covered by the agency.

- Collaborate with our content strategists and account team to execute monthly production calendars.

- Maintain brand consistency per client and deliver content on schedule.

- Care for and manage photo/video equipment.

Requirements

- Proven experience in food photography and videography — portfolio required with your application. This is a must: applications without food work will not be considered.

- Experience shooting other types of commercial content (lifestyle, events, products or brands).

- Strong editing skills in photo and short-form video for social media.

- Valid driver's license and own transportation (shoots across the island).

- Weekday availability for on-location shoots; occasional weekends with advance notice.

- Spanish required; English is a plus.

- Own camera equipment is a plus.
