*Job Summary*

As an Empleado de Almacén de Distribución (Temporero), you'll help keep warehouse operations moving by receiving, storing, picking, and preparing materials for shipment. You'll use warehouse equipment and inventory tools while following safety procedures and supporting an organized, efficient distribution floor. This is a temporary, paid position.

*Responsibilities*

* Load and unload deliveries; move, stage, and store materials using appropriate material handling equipment.
* Pick orders, verify items, and prepare shipments using an RF (radio frequency) scanner and warehouse management system.
* Support inventory management by checking quantities, reporting discrepancies, and keeping materials organized.
* Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and cranes when trained and authorized.
* Your impact: Accurate order picking and careful shipping and receiving help customers and coworkers get the right materials when they need them.

*Qualifications*

* Warehouse distribution or warehouse experience is preferred; warehouse supervisor experience, construction experience, and mechanical knowledge are also helpful.
* Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, materials handling, manual handling, and material handling equipment operation is an asset.
* Basic math skills and experience with inventory management, RF scanners, or a warehouse management system are preferred.
* Able to perform heavy lifting and follow safety protocols, including applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
* Must be willing to learn assigned warehouse tasks and operate equipment only when trained and authorized.

Pay: $* per hour
