Position Summary

RQ Construction is seeking an experienced Underground Utilities Foreman to lead field crews on construction projects in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. This role oversees the installation of stormwater drainage, sanitary sewer, and site water systems, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate crews performing underground utility installations.
Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
Enforce company safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and daily work activities.
Collaborate with project managers and field leadership to resolve issues and maintain progress.
Monitor workmanship, productivity, and proper equipment operation.
Communicate project updates, resource needs, and potential delays to leadership.
Education and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
Five or more years of construction foreman experience, including crew supervision, scheduling, material ordering, quality control, safety, and production management.
Experience overseeing underground water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater utility installations.
Three or more years of underground utility field or trade experience highly desirable.
Government, military, large commercial, or Design-Build construction experience preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Primavera P3/P6, Oracle, BIM, Revit, or Autodesk software preferred; training may be available.
CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM 385, and STS certifications required; training may be provided where applicable.
Spanish-English bilingual skills desirable.
