Tax Accountant/ Tax Associate

*Job Description:*

A tax accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing Puerto Rico and US tax returns. They work closely with other departments to ensure full compliance for all our clients.

*Essential functions:*

· Prepare and/or review Puerto Rico and US corporate and individual income tax returns.

· Ensure tax returns are accurate and comply with applicable tax laws and regulations.

· Prepare Municipal License tax return.

· Prepare CRIM return.

· Prepare annual filings and specialized income tax returns for Act 60.

· Perform other related duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

· Assist in resolving tax-related questions.

*Preparation/Requisites:*

· BBA in Accounting

· Demonstrates critical thinking skills.

· Strong knowledge of applicable tax laws and regulations.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills (both English & Spanish).

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and comply with established deadlines.

*Preferred qualifications:*

· Two (2) to three (3) years of experience with Puerto Rico tax compliance.

Pay: From $45,** per year
