Third Grade Teacher

*Duties*

* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, social studies, and physical education.
* Use differentiated instruction techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, including students with special needs or autism.
* Monitor and assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, analyzing performance data to inform instruction.
* Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful learning environment.
* Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop curriculum initiatives, share best practices, and coordinate student support services.
* Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, upcoming events, and any concerns through parent-teacher conferences and written reports.
* Integrate educational technology tools into lessons to enhance engagement and facilitate interactive learning experiences.
* Support early childhood development principles by fostering social skills, emotional regulation, and independence among students.
* Incorporate library services and literacy education strategies to promote reading fluency and comprehension skills.
* Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to curriculum implementation, childhood development, Montessori methods, or other educational approaches.

*Experience*

* Proven classroom experience teaching elementary school students at the third-grade level or similar age group.
* Demonstrated ability in curriculum development, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation across core subjects including math, literacy (writing skills), science, and social studies.
* Experience working with children with diverse learning needs, including special education or early intervention programs.
* Familiarity with educational technology integration tools and learning management systems.
* Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and student performance data analysis to support academic achievement goals.
* Prior experience mentoring or collaborating with colleagues to enhance instructional quality
* Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration in a private school environment.
