Pro Shop Attendant

The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for assisting customers in the golf shop by selling merchandise, handling cash and credit transactions, answering phone calls, and providing excellent customer service. This role involves interacting with members in a friendly, professional manner, maintaining the cleanliness of the golf shop, and supporting golf-related activities, events, and services.

Key Responsibilities may include:

Collect payment or process credit card transactions for merchandise sales, greens fees, cart/pull cart rentals, and club rentals. Issue receipts for all transactions.
Be knowledgeable about the golf shop's products. Assist customers by selling merchandise, offering suggestions based on their needs, and processing special merchandise orders.
Answer phones professionally, maintain a pleasant demeanor, and handle customer inquiries, including scheduling tee times and responding to requests or complaints. Take messages for members on the course as needed.
Interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner. Provide information regarding tournaments, special events, club activities, policies, and other relevant golf-related information.

Rate:
$* per hour

Job Requirements:

Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Valid Puerto Rico Drivers License
At least 1 year of experience in a golf shop or customer service/retail sales environment preferred.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a positive, professional demeanor in all situations.
Ability to problem-solve and handle multiple tasks under pressure

Working Conditions may include:

Work hours include days and evenings on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
Ability to sit, stand, or drive for extended periods during your shift.
