As a Sr Advanced Software Engineer
- Display Services here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will work in a fast-paced and exciting development environment with a team of experienced software and systems engineers to satisfy technical requirements, support functional load deliveries and ensure compliance with certification requirements. You will report to our Sr Engineering Manager and will work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location. External hires will work the first 90 days onsite before transitioning to a hybrid (3/2) work schedule. Join our dynamic Display Services team at Honeywell Aerospace, where we design, develop, and integrate highly complex systems for our Anthem Next Generation Avionics project. We are on the lookout for an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about creating innovative software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core Display applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications. Implement software solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Testing and Integration on test benches in labs. Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in software development. Travel, up to 10%, may be expected.
