Activity Director

PRIVATE, NON-PROFIT HISPANIC SERVING INSTITUTION HAS FULL-TIME POSITION FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE. WE SEEK A HIGHLY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL INTERESTED IN BEING PART OF A 5-YEAR FEDERAL PROJECT UNDER TITLE III, PART A-DOT TO OPERATE FROM HATO REY. INCLUDES A FULL FRINGE BENEFITS PACKAGE. Activity Director

Responsibilities:
The incumbent will work directly with the Project Director to manage all aspects of Project Activities; Hold periodic staff meetings to monitor progress; Manage and monitor budget; Prepare monthly budget summaries for the Project Director; Ensure successful and timely completion of activities implementation strategies and approved objectives (including research objectives); Assist to recruit, screen, select staff; train, and supervise staff; Ensure that required evaluation data is gathered; Provide leadership to activity personnel to analyze and interpret evaluation data and make recommendations; Maintain records of all aspects of activities; Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and institutional regulations; and provide input for formative and summative reports for the External Funds Director, President and the DOL regarding activities as per the evaluation plan.

Qualifications:
MA, MS, MBA degree preferred, with at least five (5) years of experience in education working with students in a higher education institution environment. Knowledge of current learning theories particularly relevant to first-generation students. Basic knowledge of computer technology with special emphasis in Artificial Intelligence. Top supervisory and organizational skills as well as positive leadership skills. Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish. Pay: $*
- $* per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
