Join our vibrant café team as a Barista and become the heart of a welcoming coffee experience In this energetic role, you'll craft delicious beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create a warm, inviting atmosphere for every guest. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure each visitor leaves with a smile and a memorable experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment while sharing your passion for coffee and food service.

*Responsibilities*

* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
* Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
* Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and providing personalized recommendations
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
* Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with accuracy using POS systems
* Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance
* Assist in food preparation and serving light snacks or baked goods as needed to enhance the customer experience

*Experience*

* Availability Friday, Saturday and Sundays non negotiable.
* Previous barista experience or background in coffee industry.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
* Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
* Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
* Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively
