Asistente Dental

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental practice by assisting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control practices, as well as proficiency in using dental equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners.

*Responsibilities*

* Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are readily available.
* Take and develop X-rays, utilizing medical imaging techniques to support diagnosis.
* Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
* Document patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment plans accurately in medical records.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
* Manage patient flow and maintain an organized schedule to enhance office efficiency.
* Support pediatric patients with care and comfort during their visits.
* Perform administrative duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing dental records.

*Experience*
Candidates should possess the following skills:

* Proficiency in X-ray technology and 3D scanning equipment.
* Strong knowledge of infection control practices within a dental setting.
* Familiarity with medical documentation processes and dental terminology.
* Experience in dental assisting is preferred, particularly in pediatric dentistry or as a dental receptionist.
* Ability to take vital signs and assist with basic patient assessments.
