Audio Visual Technician

*Job Summary*

We're seeking a resourceful AV Tech to work in high-end residential AV, networking, and smart home projects. This hands-on role requires strong installation, programming, and troubleshooting skills, along with clear communication. We value curiosity, sound judgment, and ownership of delivering reliable, polished systems.

*Responsibilities*

* Installation and setup of residential AV and smart home systems.
* Program, configure, and test automation and networking equipment.
* Troubleshoot issues and verify reliable system performance.
* Maintain clean installations, accurate documentation, and quality standards.
* Train homeowners on system use and provide professional support.
* Install Cat5, Cat6, and coaxial low-voltage wiring, cable routing, and terminations with emphasis on signal quality, reliability, labeling, and clean cable management.

*Requirements*

* Hands-on experience with residential AV, networking, and smart home automation.
* Strong installation, programming, and troubleshooting skills.
* Knowledge of AV signal flow, IP networking, and Wi-Fi configuration.
* Experience with Control4, Crestron, Savant, Lutron, or similar platforms.
* Ability to lead technicians, manage priorities, and work independently.
* Clear communication, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving judgment.
* Relevant manufacturer training or certifications preferred.
