ORIGIN Spa & Regenerative Wellness opening in December ** inside Aire de Olive Hotel in Isla Verde, Carolina,PR and we are building the team that will define it. Our guests descend into a cave-inspired sanctuary: a cave pool, traditional sauna and hammam, red light therapy, and nine treatment cabins dedicated to massage, facials and body rituals.

The role: Spa Therapist (Esthetician & Massage Therapist)

We are hiring Spa Therapists who deliver both skin and body treatments, so one therapist can guide a guest through a complete journey. You will perform facials, body rituals and massage in our cabins, and help guests move through the cave pool, saunas and recovery areas.

What you'll do

Guest experience

* Welcome each guest by name, review their intake and consent form, and tailor the treatment to their goals.
* Guide guests through the relaxation spaces with calm, unhurried care.
* Recommend treatments, add-ons and home-care products honestly, based on what each guest needs.
* Follow up on every concern before the guest leaves, and report anything unresolved to the Spa Manager.

Esthetics

* Perform skin analysis, customized facials, exfoliations, masks and body wraps using ORIGIN protocols.
* Operate esthetic devices such as LED and red light within your license and training.
* Coordinate with our medical aesthetics team when a guest needs a physician-level service.
* Training will be available based on ORIGIN standards.

Massage and body

* Deliver Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, sports and recovery massage.
* Adjust pressure, technique and draping to each guest's comfort and health history.
* Assist to trainings for specific ORIGIN massages.

Standards and care

* Prepare, sanitize and reset your cabin to luxury standards between every guest.
* Keep accurate treatment notes and protect guest privacy at all times.
* Track product use and report low stock, equipment issues and safety concerns.
* Take part in ongoing training, menu launches and team meetings.

Puerto Rico requirements

You must hold at least one active Puerto Rico license below, in good standing, on your first day. Dual-licensed candidates are preferred.

Requirement Massage Therapist Esthetician

License Massage Therapist license Beauty Specialist license (esthetics/cosmetology),

Training 1,000-hour program at an authorized massage school 1,000-hour program at an accredited Puerto Rico beauty school

Documents every hire provides

* Copy of active license(s) and certificates
* Certificado de Salud (health certificate), current
* Certificado de Antecedentes Penales (Police good-conduct certificate), recent
* High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred qualifications

* 2+ years in a luxury hotel spa, resort or high-end day spa preferred
* Both licenses: massage therapy and esthetics
* Experience with hydrotherapy, thermal or wet-area spa circuits preferred
* Training in advanced facials, lymphatic drainage, hot stone or recovery modalities
* Familiarity with spa booking software (Mindbody, Boulevard, Zenoti or similar)
* Retail experience with professional skincare lines

Pay: $* - $*** per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
