*Job Overview*

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Cajera/o to join our retail team In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face at the checkout counter, ensuring smooth and efficient retail sales transactions. As a Cajera/o, you will handle cash register operations, assist with product demos, and contribute to a welcoming store environment. *Duties*

* Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions efficiently
* Handle cash drawer management, including cash handling and balancing registers at shift end
* Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
* *Maintain phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely*
* Support in supervising team members during shifts, ensuring smooth store operations and excellent service delivery*Requirements*
* Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly preferred
* Proficiency with POS systems and cashiering procedures is essential
* Strong communication skills in bilingual settings (Spanish/English or other languages) are advantageous
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
* Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising, and stock management practices
* Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with professional phone etiquette
* Supervising experience is a plus, indicating leadership capabilities in a retail setting
