Role Description
Entry level and experienced Auditors will perform financial and compliance audits for clients across multiple industries, following established firm methodologies and professional standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing audit procedures, testing internal controls, reviewing financial records, and documenting findings in a clear and organized manner. Auditors will prepare workpapers, assist in drafting audit reports, and communicate audit results and recommendations to senior team members and clients. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues on engagements, meeting deadlines, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Puerto Rico.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting and auditing principles, including knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
- Ability to analyze financial data, evaluate internal controls, and identify variances or potential issues with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and accounting software; familiarity with audit management tools is an advantage.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear workpapers and contribute to audit reports.
- Collaborative mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work in teams under the guidance of senior auditors and managers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA license or progress toward certification is preferred for experienced roles.
- Ability to work on-site in Puerto Rico and, when needed, visit client locations across different industries.
- Integrity, professional ethics, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high-quality client service.
