QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure suppliers consistently deliver quality parts, materials, and services that meet company requirements
- Support the qualification and evaluation of suppliers according to established company standards
- Monitor supplier-related issues throughout the manufacturing cycle and assist in identifying and resolving quality problems
- Support the development and prioritization of supplier audit schedules to ensure compliance with GMP and quality standards
- Evaluate supplier processes and internal functions to assess overall performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide Supplier Quality support to New Product Development (NPD) activities in collaboration with Component Engineering and Post-Market Supplier Quality teams
- Support quality and regulatory compliance throughout the NPD lifecycle for newly qualified parts and components
- Assist in developing strategies to prevent defects and drive continuous improvement in supplier and product quality
- Collaborate with Component Engineers on Product Acceptance Sampling Strategies, Approved Supplier List coordination, Supplier Owned Quality, and Control Plans
- Support the definition of Receiving Inspection requirements and associated test method validation for internal Medtronic test methods
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 1 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Quality.
- Strong English communication skills , both written and verbal
- Computer proficiency and ability to work with standard business and engineering systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to understand and apply quality standards, procedures, and requirements
- Interest in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Medical Devices, or New Product Development is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective communication with internal teams
- Availability for remote
- First shift
