Buscamos a alguien bilingüe para liderar nuestra manufactura.
You'd learn to make our herbal oils from plant to finished bottle, working directly with a PharmD and trained herbalist. You'd also learn the science and the tradition behind every ingredient. And you'd be joining early, at a brand that's already on shelves and growing.
About Petra Aroma
We're a Puerto Rico brand making handmade herbal oils for hair, body and massage. Each formula uses only a few plants, steeped in oil like tea, with zero essential oils so it stays gentle enough for daily use. We source our herbs from local farmers and grow some ourselves. We're small-batch and intentional about everything we make.
Why this role is different
• A path to leadership. We're looking for a person who wants grow into leading our manufacturing, from the farm to shipping.
• Direct mentorship. You'll work alongside our founder, Dr. Daniella Olan (PharmD, former BCG consultant, trained herbalist), and learn why we make things the way we do.
• Land and lab. Part of your time goes to tending plants on our farm in San Germán, and part to the precision work of making each batch.
• A real start date. Training begins in December 2026. Full production starts in January 2027 as we move production to the west side.
What you'll do
• Make our herbal oils from start to finish following our SOPs: drying herbs, measuring, infusing, straining and quality checks
• Fill, label and package bottles to exact standards
• Keep inventory and batch records accurate, from raw herbs to finished bottles
• Pack and ship online and wholesale orders
• Plant, tend and harvest herbs on our farm in San Germán
• Find and build relationships with farmers and land stewards who grow the plants we use
• Improve our production workflows as we grow Compensation Production is paid per project: per batch made, per bottle filled and labeled, and per order shipped, all for finished, quality-checked work. Farm, sourcing and inventory work is paid hourly or per task, at rates we agree on together. We're an early-stage brand, so pay reflects where we are today, and the role grows as we do. You are a great fit if you
• Live within 20 minutes of Lajas or San Germán and have a reliable car
• Have experience in agriculture, farming or land stewardship, whether from work, school or your own land
• Love precision and are good with numbers: scales, grams, ounces and ratios, and you double-check your own work
• Are curious about the science of plants, like how extraction works and what makes a batch consistent
• Like working with your hands, outdoors and indoors
• Are reliable, detail-oriented and take pride in doing things well
• Speak English and Spanish
• Bonus: a background in biology, chemistry, agronomy, food science or herbalism Petra Aroma is proudly Puerto Rican. We handcraft every product on the island using plants grown by local land stewards and farmers across Borikén.
