ABOUT THE ROLE
The Site Related Projects / Tie-Ins Manager delivers the portfolio of smaller scopes that connect new-build assets to the live, operating site — tie-ins to existing utilities, modifications inside existing buildings, and other site-integration projects. The role requires deep coordination with the operating site's Operations team to protect ongoing GMP production during execution. The 'Existing Building Projects / Tie-Ins Manager' variant focuses on work performed inside operating manufacturing/lab buildings. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own a portfolio of tie-in and site-integration sub-projects; manage each through definition, design, execution, and turnover.
• Partner with the operating site's Operations team on production-impact planning, shutdown windows, and change control under the operating site's quality system.
• Coordinate tie-ins with the Tie-In / Site Integration Manager and with the Utilities PM.
• Support and manage contractor mobilization to brownfield environments — escorts, training, GMP gowning, restricted-zone protocols.
• Drive HSE and quality compliance in live-plant conditions; lead Management of Change (MOC) submissions.
• Report cost/schedule status per sub-project; escalate risks to plant operations promptly. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Required
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 12+ years of capital project experience; 5+ years managing brownfield/tie-in scopes in operating pharma or chemical plants.
• Strong working knowledge of GMP change control and operating-site MOC processes.
• Demonstrated track record of executing in live-plant conditions without disrupting production.
• English required. Preferred
• Spanish strongly preferred. SKILLS Technical Skills
• Tie-in and brownfield sub-project management from definition through turnover.
• GMP change control and Management of Change (MOC) submission and administration.
• Production-impact planning, shutdown window coordination, and contractor mobilization to restricted/brownfield zones.
• Cost and schedule reporting per sub-project. Soft Skills
• Close coordination with Operations teams to protect live production during execution.
• Cross-functional coordination with the Tie-In / Site Integration Manager and PC21 Utilities PM.
• Proactive risk escalation to plant operations.
• Effective communication in English (Spanish strongly preferred). Expected Work Hours: 50/wk
