Job Summary

Provides assistance and customer service related to products and services to patients, doctors, and the general public. Responsible for coordinating appointments, cancellations, and, or changes. Channels complaints, claims, and suggestions from patients to ensure the satisfaction of both internal and external customers. Follows up with clients, manages incidents, and establishes the most appropriate communication mechanisms according to the protocols and procedures established in the department.

Essential Functions

Answers phone calls using company guidelines and following quality standards.
Supports, assists, and guides customers who call to handle their requests regarding clinic products, health coverage, and other policies.
Coordinates, confirms, and reschedules appointments and performs the necessary registration in the appointment book, complying with established norms.
Analyzes and investigates customer requests, intervenes, and works with other departments and divisions of the company to obtain medical consultations, case resolutions, and procedures.
Provides information about service hours and availability.
Evaluates and determines the action to take on customer requests, according to established protocols.
Performs general office tasks such as filing, coding, photocopying, checking invoices, and general documents.

EDUCATION

Associate's Degree in Office Systems or Business Administration
High School Diploma

Experience

Associate Degree in Office Systems, Data Entry, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications completed, or at least 60-64 university credits, with six months to one year of customer service experience, preferably. Alternatively, a High School Diploma with a minimum of one to three years of customer service experience, preferably.
