As a Software Development Manager, you are responsible for the overall management and operations of the Payment Applications Department. This includes developing, managing, promoting, and integrating all aspects of the assigned area to meet both customer needs and company objectives. Also, the role provides managerial direction, supervises departmental staff, oversees budgets and financial controls, and drives talent management strategies.

In addition, you can make a difference if you meet:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Information Systems, or related.
Master Degree preferred.
Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in supervising and managing, preferably within a Software Development unit.
Familiarity with financial transaction messaging standards (ISO 8583) and industry standards like PCI DSS.
Knowledge of transaction processing with major brands (e.g., VISA, MasterCard) is desirable.
Ability to translate system requirements into technical solutions and clear specifications.
Skilled in project planning and execution, including task identification, resource allocation, and detailed project plans.
Expertise in budget planning and cost control.
Strong leadership to influence, guide, and motivate teams toward common goals, fostering trust, effective decision-making, and team development.
Strategic planning skills to set objectives, develop strategies, and create actionable plans.
Competence in evaluating program status, identifying improvements, and implementing updates aligned with business needs.
Experience leading regional software development teams, ensuring solutions meet strategic goals, quality standards, and deadlines.
Significant knowledge in payment systems and digital payment trends.
Proactive in researching new technologies in the payments ecosystem.
Proficiency in English (intermediate to advanced).

Work hours:

Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Available to work extended hours, weekends, and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required to support projects in the region.
