Description
The Sourcing Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Business and Surgical Vision Supply Chain by collaborating closely with business leaders to ensure supply continuity and drive value across assigned categories. The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for analyzing spend and supplier data, leading cost optimization initiatives, managing supplier relationships, supporting sourcing events and compliance projects, and enhancing the overall performance of suppliers to deliver tangible business results.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships with key business partners.
Lead spend analysis and cost optimization initiatives to identify and track savings opportunities across assigned categories.
Support the Senior Sourcing Manager during sourcing events (RFQ/RFP/RFI) by compiling and organizing relevant data.
Develop and monitor supplier performance scorecards and drive supplier relationship management and continuous improvement efforts.
Support supplier risk assessments by monitoring Business Continuity Plans and milestone completion for at-risk suppliers.
Manage supplier escalations, leveraging strong SRM skills to negotiate tradeoffs and reduce the likelihood of line-down scenarios.
Negotiate unfavorable price variances and tariffs with suppliers to minimize impact on the profit and loss statement.
Support S&OP meetings with the top 15 suppliers by preparing, updating, and tracking KPIs and supplier scorecards, and following up on action items.
Analyze market data to develop negotiation strategies with suppliers aimed at delivering business savings.
Assist the Senior Sourcing Manager with compliance projects and new product development initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation skills.
Skilled in negotiation and influencing/collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical ability to absorb information and solve complex problems rapidly.
Thorough knowledge of sourcing procedures and supplier relationship management.
Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to meet timelines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Expertise in Procurement, Operations, Logistics, Planning, and Forecasting.
Experience in financial management, including budget development and control.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
