Aerostar Airport Holdings, LLC operates and manages the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) under a forty-year lease with the Puerto Rico Ports Authority. SJU handles over 13 million passengers annually, serves as the island's largest airport, and is the primary international gateway and key air cargo hub for Puerto Rico, with connections primarily to the continental United States. Aerostar is a public-private partnership, privately-held company, and limited liability company committed to upgrading the airport and enhancing its operations.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Analyst located in Carolina, Puerto Rico. This position will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to support commercial decisions, preparing reports, and providing insights to enhance business strategies.
Essential Functions:
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and generate actionable insights.
Track and evaluate business and commercial performance metrics, including customer satisfaction.
Use Excel, Power BI, and Tableau for data cleaning, visualization, and reporting to support strategic decisions.
Test hypotheses, assess commercial initiatives, and provide data-driven recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic planning, business development, and customer engagement.
Prepare clear, audience-tailored reports, presentations, and infographics to communicate findings.
Ensure data quality across commercial systems and manage reporting processes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited institution.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business, data, or statistical analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and support decisions
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Customer service orientation for quality stakeholder interactions
High attention to detail
