Sr Ehs Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead our efforts in creating a safe, compliant, and sustainable manufacturing environment. In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive EHS programs that promote occupational health and safety excellence across our operations. Duties
* Lead the development and execution of EHS policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and other regulatory standards to ensure full compliance across all manufacturing processes.
* Conduct thorough incident investigations, root cause analyses, and report writing to identify hazards and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
* Deliver engaging training & development sessions on topics such as first aid, CPR, OSHA regulations, occupational health best practices, and workers' compensation law to empower employees with vital safety knowledge.
* Perform regular safety audits, inspections, and fence checks to monitor environmental conditions, workplace hazards, and adherence to safety protocols.
* Manage workers' compensation claims process by coordinating with insurance providers and ensuring proper documentation in accordance with workers' compensation law.
* Facilitate emergency response planning including first aid procedures, CPR certification programs, and coordination with local emergency responders.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing safety data trends, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending innovative solutions to enhance workplace safety culture.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, occupational health practices, and workers' compensation law.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct report writing, root cause analysis, incident investigations, and develop effective corrective action plans.
* Certifications in first aid, CPR, OSHA training programs, and environmental management are highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of EHS best practices including hazard identification, risk assessment techniques, and training & development methodologies.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging training sessions and collaborate effectively across teams.

* Previous experience in Safety (Machine Guarding, Electrical Safety) , Ergonomics and EHS Management of Change
Pay: $60,** - $80,** per year
