We're partnering with a community-based healthcare organization on California's Central Coast to recruit a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a full-time, day-shift clinic role. Compensation

* Approximately $177,000–$234,000 annually, depending on experience

Role Overview

In this role, the Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary care services to clinic patients in accordance with established clinical protocols, with physician consultation available as needed.

Core responsibilities include:

* Conducting patient histories, physical exams, and focused assessments
* Diagnosing and managing common acute and chronic conditions
* Ordering and interpreting labs, imaging, EKGs, and related diagnostics
* Prescribing medications and treatments under established guidelines
* Documenting care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
* Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff on treatment planning
* Participating in quality improvement and utilization review activities
* Providing patient and staff education as appropriate

Required Qualifications

* Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Master's degree required)
* Active California RN and Nurse Practitioner license
* National NP certification (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent)
* BLS (AHA) required
* ACLS (AHA) required if privileges include inpatient coverage
* Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

Physical & Work Considerations

* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during clinical shifts
* Ability to bend, push/pull, and lift moderate weight as part of patient care
* Active clinical environment typical of outpatient practice
