Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in applying insulating materials to pipes or ductwork, controlling temperature, and maintaining mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and cut insulation for covering surfaces using tape measures, handsaws, knives, and scissors.
  • Fitting insulation around obstructions and shaping insulating materials as required.
  • Determining the amounts and types of insulation needed based on factors such as location, surface shape, and equipment use.
  • Installing sheet metal around insulated pipes with screws to protect against weather conditions or physical damage.

Requirements:

  • A high school vocational diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in insulation installation and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
