About the RoleThe Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining and updating accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis is also a key responsibility. Key tasks include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts
- Preparing financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Collaboration with external accountants or auditors is necessary to facilitate annual audits and tax preparations. Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with fluency in both English and Spanish.
