About the Job
Labtech Diagnostics Llc is seeking a skilled Laboratory Specimen Collector to join our team. As a Laboratory Specimen Collector, you will be responsible for drawing, collecting, and handling laboratory specimens from patients across various age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and process blood and other bodily fluids from patients
- Utilize Universal Precautions and follow all safety guidelines
- Register patients and maintain accurate records
- Notify physicians of critical lab results
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- One year of experience is required
- Completion of a Phlebotomy or Medical Office Assistant course is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
