The Role

This position is a key member of our IT Sox Compliance team, supporting IT Sox controls and internal audits. The Senior Lead IT Systems Analyst will partner with control owners as a second line of defense to validate that ITGC have been completed timely and with correct data to pass the control.

The successful candidate will drive process improvements to continue to move processes tied to controls forward. They will participate in large-scale project testing for risks, gaps, and Sox controls.

Main Responsibilities

The Senior Lead IT Systems Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Supporting IT Sox controls and internal audits
  • Partnering with control owners to validate ITGC completion
  • Driving process improvements to move processes tied to controls forward
  • Participating in large-scale project testing for risks, gaps, and Sox controls
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of Sox General IT Controls
  • Experience with understanding applications and infrastructure permissions
  • Maintain strong partnership with Internal Audit to ensure alignment and positive working relationship
  • Maintain strong partnership with Control Owners
  • Tracking and organizing Sox audits that are being performed prior to IA and External
  • Risk assessments
  • Test large-scale projects that are Sox impacting
  • Lead special projects as requested
What We Look For in a Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Strong knowledge of IT Sox process controls, methodology, and procedures
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to shift and review processes/data from various systems
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Ability to lead through process change management, with strong process design and documentation skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal IT Control Owners, Sox Internal Audit team, External Audit, and other internal and external support organizations while maintaining a high level of customer service
Education

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, accounting, or other business discipline with at least 7 years of relevant experience in IT Sox Audits, Internal audit, risk consulting, or external audit. CIA, CISA, and/or CPA is a plus.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location-based pay ranges are as follows:

  • $111,480 - $148,630 in these states: AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD
  • $117,340 - $156,450 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY
  • $123,210 - $164,280 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
  • $129,080 - $172,100 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
