**Job Summary**
The Utility Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks within a specific building, including cleaning, trash removal, and wood breakdown functions using Forklift or Cushman equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking up bagged trash from pre-determined locations on building floors and transporting it to a designated location using a utility/trash cart, forklift, or truck.
- Transporting trash from a building may require the use of a company-provided vehicle.
- Breaking down and disposing of wood pallets, wood crates, and wooden fixtures in a proper container and location.
- Maintaining clean equipment and wiping down all trash receptacles as needed.
- Performing other duties as designated by the Project Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid state driver's license.
- May be required to obtain a forklift operator license, which will be provided on-site by ABM.
- Must be able to read and interpret traffic signs.
- Must have the ability to work with other crew members and take direction from a Supervisor.
- Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job duties.
