The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team, product management, and engineering to drive thoughtful analysis and controllership in the Database businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Build out and enhance P&L models for new and existing services, develop business insights, and key metric dashboards.
- Create, maintain, and improve profitability and management reporting.
- Drive the financial planning/budgeting process.
- Analyze new business ideas, make analytical judgments, and provide data-intensive analyses to drive meaningful change.
- Drive pricing decisions and strategic decision supports.
- Identify and influence cost-saving opportunities and drive execution with the business team.
- Compile and review financial results and operational plans and communicate results to company leaders.
- Lead key analytical projects that assist and influence the business.
- 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience.
- Preferred qualifications include 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience, as well as 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business.
- MBA or CPA is also preferred.
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL and experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results is also desired.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
