Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse portfolio of government and commercial partnerships focused on regenerative medicine, cell and gene therapies, biologics manufacturing, and defense health.
- Collaborate with Ginkgo technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes and delivery of high-quality results that align with partner objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel within Ginkgo and government partners.
- Partner with the business generation team to outline account strategies, including stakeholders, goals, and priorities.
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve key project and partner issues through engagement with internal teams and customers.
- Bachelor's degree in a business, science, or technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technology development with government partners, with a focus on regenerative medicine, cell and gene therapies, and biologics manufacturing.
- Experience working with U.S. government agencies, particularly the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) and Department of Defense (DoD).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to combine attention to detail with a big-picture perspective.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and with government officials.
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in science, policy, or technical field.
- Security clearance, if required for the role.
- Experience leading a Project Management Office (PMO) and familiarity with Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices.
- Pharmaceutical experience and a keen understanding of drug development and the life sciences industry.
- Market-driven total compensation, with a starting salary of $113,000 +.
- Company stock awards.
