Job Title: Custodian

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Custodian to join our team at the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS) in College Park, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of facilities and equipment
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed
  • Assist with special events and projects as required
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in custodial services or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
