Geologist (Resource Specialist)

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled geologist to analyze geological data, plan projects, and oversee the work of subcontractors. This role involves collaborating with engineers, geophysicists, and other scientists to ensure successful project execution.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and project management skills, as well as proficiency in data analysis and technological tools. They should also be comfortable with regional business travel and occasional long-term assignments within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prepare subcontracts and oversee subcontractor work
• Write and prepare technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
• Conduct field work, including soil, groundwater, and/or vapor sampling
• Manage office tasks such as task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, cost estimates, health & safety plan preparation, report writing, regulatory file reviews, proposal writing, project strategy development, schedule and budget management, and establishment of subcontracts

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science in Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related field
• Valid driver's license
• Bilingual
• Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training
