Inteldot, a leading life science company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our team in Puerto Rico. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, we are confident that this individual will make a significant contribution to our success.

As a Senior Scientist, you will be responsible for independently conceiving, designing, implementing, and advancing scientific experiments that contribute to the successful completion of goals and/or projects. You will interpret experimental strategies, lead activities, and provide input to new processes to generate robust and reliable data.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Independently monitoring or conducting experiments, studies, or a series of experiments/studies to advance projects or technologies.
  • Providing advanced data analysis and interpretation and assessing the impact of data on the project and making recommendations.
  • Expanding knowledge-seeking beyond core areas of expertise.
  • Identifying relevant external competitive knowledge.
  • Independently preparing new and novel protocols/experimental design.
  • Contributing to an independent research/project team.
  • Initiating productive collaborations outside of the department or company.
  • Introducing new or advanced technologies and/or concepts.
  • Contributing to scientific journal articles or complex technical documents as lead author.
  • Leading department-wide support efforts such as safety, recruiting, and committees.
  • Developing supervisory and mentoring skills.
  • Making proactive decisions that contribute to the achievement of milestones.
  • Planning detailed procedures for defined projects, including timelines, milestones, methodological approaches, expected results, and necessary resources.

  • Creative skills in the development of new hypotheses for scientific experiments.
  • Critical evaluation and detailed interpretation of results.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).

Education:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of scientific experience OR Master's degree and 6 years of scientific experience OR Bachelor's degree and 8 years of directly related experience.
