Senior Safety Coordinator

As a Senior Safety Coordinator at Flexible & Integrated Technical Services, LLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe work environment for workers and site employees. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure OSHA compliance by taking immediate corrective actions to address unsafe acts, work, and/or conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with project teams, site management, and local site EHS staff to identify hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
• Collect and maintain project-specific safety performance metrics (leading and lagging) to track progress and improve safety outcomes.
• Lead risk assessments for high-risk work, such as work from heights and excavation.
• Perform and maintain records of safety audits and daily/weekly site walks to ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related EH&S field.
• At least five (5) years of experience in managing safety activities within the Pharmaceutical & Medical Devices Industry.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English.
