Job Summary:
Quest Diagnostics is seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. You will also be responsible for processing and preparing specimens for testing, as well as maintaining accurate records and reports.

Responsibilities:
• Collect blood specimens from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Process and prepare specimens for testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and aliquoting.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, specimen collection data, and testing results.
• Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred.
• One year of phlebotomy experience preferred; customer service experience in a retail or service environment also preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English; proficiency in a second language a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
