Civil Litigation Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support to attorneys across all aspects of case management.
• Collaborate with attorneys in the preparation, proofreading, revision, and finalization of legal documents.
• Conduct E-Filing in state, federal, and appellate courts.
• Manage confidential information, files, records, legal documents, and reports.
• Perform intake and conflicts checks, process time entries, and handle client billing.
• Maintain attorneys' calendars, coordinate travel, schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation law; California-specific experience is preferred.
• Positive attitude, proactive mindset, flexibility, and a strong team player.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Professional.
• Expertise in electronic document management systems, with a deep understanding of local rules and procedures for filing in California and Federal courts, as well as e-filing and calendaring.
• Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills.
• Excellent writing and proofreading abilities with keen attention to detail.
