Job Summary:

The Children's Guild is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy services to children who demonstrate a functional inability to perform in an educational environment.

• Screen, select, and evaluate occupational performance of children in an educational setting
• Acquire information about students' functional skills, roles, and context
• Prioritize needs and synthesize information for effective treatment planning
• Select effective treatment strategies that are developmentally appropriate and educationally relevant
• Develop, modify, and execute treatment plans considering best practices, evidence-based, and clinical reasoning
• Collaborate and consult with families and other professionals to identify students' current needs and prioritization of educationally relevant treatment goals

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children with disabilities
• Valid certificate from the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) or eligible for certification
• Current (or temporary) Maryland State license as an Occupational Therapist or eligible for certification
• Certified in or eligible for certification in crisis management, CPR/First Aid
