Investment Policy Officer Role Summary

STRS Ohio is seeking an Investment Policy Officer to join the Investment/Management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio's Investment Department is in conformity with all relevant rules, policies, and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and facilitate understanding of the Investment Department's policies, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Maintain Investment Department policies and implement review procedures.
  • Coordinate with STRS Ohio legal and compliance teams to ensure investment activities, processes, and guidelines adhere to applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
  • Complete and disseminate required regulatory disclosures, registrations, affirmations, and representations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree with an emphasis in business administration, finance, or a quantitatively oriented field.
  • Seven to ten years of demonstrated experience in the field of business, finance, investment, or accounting.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder strongly preferred.
