Civil Investigator Job Description

FSA Federal is seeking a highly skilled Civil Investigator to support the US Attorney's Office in investigating and prosecuting healthcare fraud matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into healthcare fraud allegations, gathering and analyzing evidence to build a strong case.
  • Collaborate with Assistant United States Attorneys and other law enforcement agencies to advance investigative objectives.
  • Research and analyze complex data to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of healthcare fraud.
  • Prepare and disseminate information to federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
  • Testify in court as required and provide expert testimony in court cases and affidavits.
  • Travel in support of investigations and provide analysis of information to cognizant investigators.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • Formalized training and certification within a specific expertise/investigative field.
  • 10+ years of Federal Law Enforcement experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex Criminal/Civil/National Security/investigations.
  • Experience within a specific investigative field.
  • Significant experience testifying in court matters.
  • Foreign language skills are preferred.
  • Demonstrated liaison/coordination skills.
