This is an exciting opportunity to join Baxter, a leading global healthcare company, as a Quality Technician, Line Operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results to ensure quality of product and process.
- Maintain department equipment and inventory levels for controlled materials.
- Interact with manufacturing and supervision on a daily basis to address quality process or batch-related concerns.
- Perform process compliance audits of all manufacturing areas to ensure quality of product and process.
- Perform troubleshooting, work independently, and make decisions based on general guidance and existing procedural requirements.
- Perform in-process and/or final review of batch and/or critical systems documentation and determine acceptability by using standard operating procedures.
- Ensure presence and acceptability of all required documentation prior to the release of the product and/or system.
- Responsible for batch and/or critical systems review.
- Achieve and maintain batch or systems release qualification within assigned production cell.
- Reviews documentation such as protocols, CWRs, qualifications, etc. as assigned.
- Enters data into the Batch Release System.
- Generates reports from Trackwise 8.
- Performs product functional testing in support of equipment validations.
- Associate degree in related discipline or 6 months or more years related experience.
- Basic science, math, and computer skills (including Microsoft Word and Excel) are required.
- Good writing and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to work in a team environment and make independent decisions based on procedural and regulatory requirements.
- It is desirable for the candidate to have experience with the requirements of current Good Manufacturing & Documentation Practices in pharma manufacturing facilities.
- The candidate must be able to work flexible hours in a dynamic environment with minimal direct supervision.
- The ability to work some Saturdays is required.
- Will work in both Drug Delivery and Penicillin facilities as needed.
- Overtime may be required to meet the production schedule.
- The candidate must not be allergic to penicillin or cephalosporin drugs.
At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $40,000-$55,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
