Auditor Specialist

At Buscojobs Puerto Rico, we are seeking an experienced Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our internal controls and risk management function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Corporation's financial systems and operations are aligned with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits to assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
• Identify and document business processes and controls to evaluate risks and identify areas for improvement
• Compare and contrast established policies, procedures, and controls with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Analyze data obtained from tests performed to determine that internal controls exist and are working effectively
• Prepare, discuss, and submit audit findings and recommendations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in internal or external auditing, preferably in a financial institution
• Comprehensive understanding of internal control environments and risk management principles
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, with ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• Working knowledge of Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
