Visual Communications Expert

We're seeking a highly skilled Graphic Design Specialist to join our team at Popular. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing visual concepts that communicate ideas and inspire our customers.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from brochures and flyers to magazines and reports. You will work closely with internal clients to understand their needs and develop creative solutions that meet their expectations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the overall layout and production design for various applications, including brochures, flyers, magazines, forms, presentations, and reports.
• Manage tasks through the Documentation Request System (DRS) application.
• Coordinate calls/meetings with internal clients to learn about their needs and requirements for a job.
• Define concepts and offer alternatives and recommendations to prepare adequate designs or templates.
• Establish estimated time of tasks/projects completion based on the complexity of the work and negotiate with the user due date.
• Apply corporate standards in arts and forms and provide alternatives to optimize visual presentations.
• Define print fields, variables for drop downs, picklists, check boxes, and basic math formula logistics.
• Program form fields to appear or disappear according to the information provided.
• Program to define quantity of copies to print, establishes fields with numerical sequence, etc.
• Distribute forms to the applications and, if necessary, assist in adjusting them during the testing process.
• Maintain control of the forms' versions in the Catalog and the servers.
• Assist or take responsibility in other tasks that may become part of the job as operational changes occur.

What We Look For:

We're looking for someone with a strong portfolio and excellent communication skills. A bachelor's degree in Arts or Fine Arts majoring in Graphic Design or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

As a lifelong learner, you should stay up-to-date with the latest methods, techniques, and tools of the trade.
