Job Summary
Amerijet International is seeking a skilled Cargo Handler to join their team in the San Juan warehouse. As a key member of the logistics team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of freight from acceptance to completion, including build-up, breakdown, scanning, and tie-down.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Duty Supervisor to finalize warehouse duties assignments within the allocated period.
- Perform cargo acceptance, build-up, breakdown, scanning, tie-down, and other functions as assigned by management.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility and equipment.
- Work effectively with minimal supervision to meet objectives.
- Interact effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless cargo handling operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift/relocate heavy items.
