Job Summary

At ImmunityBio, we're seeking a skilled Medical Call Center Representative to serve as the initial point of contact for the public and our company affiliates. This role will respond to various telephone inquiries regarding our products, greet and assist visitors to our facilities, and provide administrative support as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer telephone inquiries from external parties regarding ImmunityBio's products
  • Clarify desired information and respond to requests using standard procedures and detailed product references
  • Escalate more complex requests to appropriate subject matter experts for handling
  • Document inquiries and input requestors' information to maintain contact database
  • Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location
  • Answer visitors' questions, calls, and emails, and provide them with relevant information
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of receptionist or call center experience required
  • Experience in a medical or medical insurance office, pharmacy, or health science environment would be helpful
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical Assistant Certification or Pharmaceutical Technician experience
  • General knowledge of medical and/or pharmaceutical terminology
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Working Environment

This role will work on-site at our El Segundo, CA location. The position will provide coverage from 5 am to 5 pm by covering one of two shifts: 5 am - 2 pm or 8 am - 5 pm. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk are required. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
