Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team at Brookdale Newberg. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering and assisting with medication and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
- Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers and observe/report responses to supervisors.
- Ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
- Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
Requirements:
- Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will be responsible for administering or assisting with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Certified Medication Aides/Techs will ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
