House Coordinator

The University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented House Coordinator to support the House Director in all administrative functions. This role will provide financial processing and record keeping, support student workers and Resident Advisors, and facilitate communications and residential life activities.

• Process financial entries, place purchase orders, and assist with financial paperwork and processes.
• Support student payroll processes and Student Program Card accounts, as well as express shipping.
• Provide administrative support to the House Director, including calendar management, event logistics, and document preparation.
• Coordinate House communications, including internal and external communications, and manage the House website, calendar, and listservs.
• Administrate and provide support for RA selection and student worker processes, utilizing WorkDay and the CHAS RA hiring app.
• Manage the College House Office, including office equipment and supplies, and assist with supervision of student office staff.
• Collaborate with the Residential Services Manager and Building Administrator to arrange and coordinate space and guest access, report facilities concerns, and address special security needs.

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent proofreading and grammatical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to keep detailed records.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with email programs such as Outlook.
• Knowledge of the University's financial systems desirable.
