End of Life Care Opportunity
Routine tasks are a thing of the past at Interim HealthCare Hospice. As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients and their families during this significant time of need. Our commitment to quality care has earned us the nation's first home care company title. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you'll work closely with a physician, LPN, CNA, HHA, social worker, chaplain, and volunteers to deliver comprehensive care to patients with six months or less to live. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing patient assessments, checking vitals, and evaluating breathing.
- Monitoring pain, administering prescribed medication and treatments, and ensuring accessibility of medical equipment and prescribed oxygen.
- Providing education to families on the patient's prognosis, changes in care plan, medication, and hospice goals.
