Primary Function: DCA PICKING - PACKING Full Time

This role is responsible for performing tasks associated with the receipt, storage, and shipment of product while meeting productivity, quality, safety, behavioral, and attendance expectations.

Utilizing established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies, this individual will effectively and efficiently complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes with a distribution center.

Responsibilities Include:

• Unloading product from delivery trucks
• Sorting and labeling inventory
• Picking and packing orders for shipment
• Replenishing stock and auditing inventory levels
• Shipping and making boxes as needed

This role requires the ability to safely perform assigned warehouse functions utilizing established processes, procedures, and tools while meeting performance expectations for productivity, quality, safety, and attendance.

As a representative of Grainger, this individual must comply with company policies, guidelines, and procedures as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA, and Hazardous Material requirements in the storage, handling, and movement of product.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Performing necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment
• Actively participating in process improvements by utilizing Grainger's quality system
• Operating PIE equipment as required

This role is a critical part of the distribution center's operations and requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
