Echocardiography Specialist

About the Role: Astrana Health is seeking a skilled Echocardiography Specialist to perform ultrasound examinations of the heart and related vessels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of echocardiography principles and be able to accurately detect abnormalities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare studies for interpretation by physician, including accurate calculation of cardiac structures.
• Demonstrate ability to detect possible abnormalities on an echo that are not considered to be normal and notify physician of any suspected abnormalities.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and maintain daily log of studies.
• Initiate Code Blue and emergency measures when indicated according to BCLS and hospital policy.
• Maintain medication security to authorized personnel only and evaluate inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Utilize effective communication and problem-solving skills in all interpersonal interactions.

Qualifications: Echocardiography graduate with RDMS (RDMS preferred) and BCLS or ACLS Certification from American Heart Association. 1+ years of echocardiography experience.
